Who
Are We?
|
| |
We are a cultural, private,
autonomous, and a non profit – making institution that belongs to the
group of 170 Binational Centers established in three continents by
citizens of the host country and American residents.
|
| |
|
|
|
Our main objective is to promote
international communication through cultural and informative activities
that, in turn, aim at the encouragement of mutual understanding and
good will between Colombian and American people.
At present, Colombia has 9 binational centers at the following cities:
Armenia, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Cali, Cartagena, Bogota, Pereira,
Medellin, and Manizaless.
|
 |
| Mission |
|
The Binational Center at Bucaramanga
is a non profit-making organization where human development is
encouraged through cultural and academic programs that work together to
attain exchange goals with the United States of America and the whole
world.
|
 |
| Vision |
|
In the year 2008, the Binational
Center will consolidate itself as a leader and an avant-garde center;
as a multi-cultural venue that is open to the diverse public regardless
of their origin, ideas, or interests. In other words, as a space for
knowledge transformation, art encouragement and respect for other
cultures.
